Prudence De Marchi

For the past decade, Prudence De Marchi dedicated herself to special education, until she found time to return to her first passion: painting.

Working from her studio in Newcastle, she paints predominantly with acrylics on canvas. Prudence draws inspiration from nature, architecture, design, music and fashion, creating abstract works that range from fervent strokes of colour to more controlled geometric and organic forms.

Prudence has exhibited in numerous joint and solo exhibitions across Australia, with her original paintings and prints collected internationally and featured on The Block in 2020 and 2021.
